Your 1752 4th October. AS H.M. Ships
had been directed to paint large Union Jack on the
Quarter deck awnings, no objection was raised to
proposal by P. & 0. Company Agent to use special
identification marks and he was advised that Union
Flag in prominent position was the correct marking.
Blue Funnel and other companies are also
adopting this course. Is there any objection ?
